I'm Juan Camilo López Carreño.

I was born in Bogotá, Colombia on July 29^th, 1991.

I'm a theoretical physicist, currently doing my Ph. D. at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid under the supervision of Dr. Fabrice Laussy and Dr. Elena del Valle.

Our research activities lie within the field of Quantum Optics. In particular, we study the particles resulting from the quantum mixture of light and matter: the polaritons.
