Oxford (June 2018)
Being a scientist, Oxford has always had a strong appealing for me. Historically, it represents the royalty of the science and its streets have seen walk the most brilliant minds. Recently, Carlos Sanchez, with whom I shared some time while doing my Ph. D., has moved to Oxford to do a Post Doc.
Oxford is vibrant with culture, with a place for every possible interest. It was the home of Tolkien, who more than a scholar and a writer was an artist, but also the Wonderland of Alice. The colleges, where students of the University live, are the Downtown Abbey version of England. The cream of the cream. Walking around them you get the desire to think and discover, something that was perfectly expressed by Carlos: Here, I would have come out with gravity too.
