I am Juan Camilo López Carreño.
I was born in Bogotá, Colombia 33.35 years ago.
Physics and me
I'm a theoretical physicist.
I completed my PhD at theUniversidad Autónoma de Madrid in November 2019, under the supervision of Dr. Fabrice Laussy and Dr. Elena del Valle.
My thesis was about the sources of Quantum Light—both at the single- and multi-photon level—and the regimes of excitation that can be reached by systems that are driven with these rather than by classical sources.
